Public Service Announcement to Realtors and Potential Buyers from Orion Mortgage Corporation:
Waiting period requirements after a short sale are changing on August 16, 2014! They are going from 2 years to 4 years.
If you are a Realtor with a client who had a short sale over 2 years ago….but not over four years ago (or if you are a buyer in this situation), you need to find a home and get approved before August 16th, 2014 or else you will need to wait four years from your short sale to qualify.
Please forward this message to anyone you might know in this situation.
